I just picked up an HK45C in a trade. It came with an 8rnd mag and 10rnd elephant foot mag. I like to carry a spare mag, can I get a flat baseplate for the elephant foot mag? It's so bulky and I normally pocket carry my spare mag in a DeSantis Mag Packer. Any issues with fit/functionality doing that, or do I need to just pony up and buy an extra 8rnder?

Yes, it is the same as the HK45 full-size floor plate. The flat floor plate for the HK45C/USPC 45 8-rd mag will work, too, and gives you a thinner profile.

Yes, there will be issue if you slam the mag hard.
