Looks pretty standard, except for the future warrior stuff. I hope the Bundeswehr isn't headed down that path, look at the failure of the Land Warrior project.

I do like the looks of bits and pieces, the Grenade Holosight and the stock on the G36 that has adjustable LOP. Hopefully the original sight/optic/carry handle will fade into the past.

Jury's still out on the XM25 concept. I think the 203 platform will be around as long as the M4 platform is there to sling it under. Advances look like improved sights and multi-purpose ammo.

Great pics, this reminds me, who will take me to Shot Show. :)
I'm working on some passes right now, I'm only 1.5 hours away. Let me know if your serious. You could do alot worst then vacationing on Clearwater Beach in January.

Thanks Lee for taking the time to share, those are some great pics.

The G36 pictured in the German Army booth is the newest verion of the German "Infantryman of the Future" program. It has embedded cabling to "make hot" the metal top rail and forearm wherein the powered accessories mounted on these rails are powered by a single rechargable battery housed in the new buttstock. The push buttons on the foreend control the functions of the soldier system contained on the helmet and in the troops equipment.

The 40mm launcher sight was definately inspired by the Insight Technology PSQ-18 GLM. Just ad the DrOptic and voila, HK sight.

Well I would love to go, but time off of work during the winter is almost impossible. I do usually get out to Clearwater Beach every year, gotta eat my yearly grouper sandwich at Frenchys.

Thanks for the pic's, Mr. Lee!

Revised 416 with extended rail system that covers the gas block.
I keep hoping this is the rail length the U.S. MR556 has on it. I like it a lot better with the couple of inchs worth of extra rail space.
