Have a older HK MP5K tatical briefcase that has a cracked handle due to someone Shooting one handed. Was wondering if any supply of parts nowadays. I had planned on gluing with some internal renforcing pins and glass ..... but wondering if any interest to someone as a project, and what type price?

I would bet you could fix it with Acraglas gel. You can tint it to match the color of the handle. Unless it's a big crack you could probably just fill in the crack and it would be good to go. I fixed a cracked A3 stock with it's held together just fine. I even fixed my sisters key less entry remote with it. I rebuilt the part the keyring goes through. It held up for almost a year and she's the kind of person who can tear up a steel ball with a rubber hammer.

Thanks for the ideas. Is a plastic welder thermal I assume?

Plastic Welder & Welding Kit

Will be a week or two before I am up and around enough to get the brief case out of the shop for photos ... just doing research now.
Severe overkill... Acraglas will work just fine.

Does the case have the same warranty as the guns? I wonder if HK stocks any replacement parts.
Or, if HK can't help, then you could try Hofbauer. They are German specialist case manufacturers who made the exterior parts of the tactical case for HK back in the 80's.

Website: Gregor Hofbauer GmbH :: Industriekoffer, Extrusionsblasformtechnik, Spritzgusstechnik

The HK tactical case is a modified version of the Hofbauer SL1020 case from the "Citybag" range.

The bigger SL1060 makes an excellent "factory consistent" non-firing transport case for the full sized MP5.
