Hi, I recognize alot of folks here from M4carbine and Akforum. I recently was given this item by a friend of mine. I know very little about it and can't seem to find much info. Not sure if I have trash or treasure. I figured this would be the place to find out.

I had seen that. There seems to be no source for the flares but the mags seem to be easily obtained.

you can find flares for sale here every now and then, saw some on ebay a couple of weeks ago but that auction got pulled. They are no longer importing them so you just have to keep watching.
