I installed my new factory HK KV stock on my HK G36C. Given that the stock is collapsible, it can be extended much further than the standard G36C stock. Being 6'5", the increased length of pull makes a really nice difference.

Sweersa, to answer your question, this particular gun is a HK post sample G36C.

I like the look of the IDZ stock on the G36C as well...

I've been thinking about doing this with mine. The IDZ stock is 9" extended, while the KV stock is 11" extended, so you wouldn't get the length of pull advantage you have with the KV stock.

Correct, the IDZ does not have as long LOP. It was developed for the German future soldier program, so it evolved around the use of body armor where longer LOP is not necessary.

Thank you. That's very nice! If the Gun Control Act of 1968 and the Hughes Amendment in the 1986 FOPA are ever repealed, I hope to be the first in line for an HK G36C. :D
