This great looking example of a HK G41 carbine was built by Mike Woodward at TSC Machine from a factory de-milled G41 and a HK93. It is one of a handful that Mike built. The G41 was HK's entry to the U.S. Military trials in the 1980's when it was looking for a replacement for the Colt M4 Carbine, although the U.S. Military ultimately decided that it would continue using the M4 the HK G41 was sold to Law enforcement agencies. The G41 had significant upgrades/improvements over the HK33 as it's successor. The most notable change is that it uses standard AR style magazines making the cost of ownership less expensive for Law enforcement agencies as they didn't have to purchase HK specific magazines. The other notable change is the addition of a forward assist or silent bolt assist for press checking the rifle loading it quietly. The addition of a folding carry handle mounted to the rifle also differs from previous HK models. This is one of the Rarest HK's you can own and will make a great addition to you collection!
