London-based ArmorGroup, provides protection for UK government personnel and diplomatic staff in Afghanistan. They are one of the largest private security companies working in the country with around 1,200 staff at a time of high demand when the security is seen to be steadily deteriorating. Last week Richard Adamson, a British national working with Armorgroup was murdered in Kabul. ArmorGroup said Mr Adamson was the first of its British employees lost in Afghanistan, although local employees had been killed in the past
