According to a retired Alhambra police officer, Monterey Park PD issued the HK USP40 which would have been used in this recent incident.

What's interesting to note is the cursory scan after firing, and both fired a 5 shot NSR. Reportedly, 90% of their rounds hit.

Apparently, the training is strong with this department.
