Guys, just picked up a USP that has the Jagd und Sportwaffen markings and 'Heckler & Koch' engraved into the right side of the slide. Never seen one like this. Anyone know what the deal is with these markings? Apart from the markings the gun is a run of the mill USP.

My AE USP45 bears both the "JS" mark and has "Heckler & Koch" engraved on the right side of the slide. From what i've seen, these markings are very common for USP's made during that time frame.

Note the small circular "JS" marking to the right of the laser etched HK logo.

Jagd-und Sportwaffen means "Hunting and Sporting Arms" and is HK's civilian sporting division.
My P2Ksk is an 'AG' but no Jadg-und Sportwaffen etch, just thought that was a little odd..
