PM me your addy and I'll drop one in the mail.Just picked up a USP 45, no key. Just a shot -- does HK replace these free?
What happens when one tries this?ETA: when you engage the lock, remember to never try and rack the slide.
Attempting to rack the slide with the lock out engaged can damage the hammer strut. What happens when one tries this?

I didn't know that, thanks for the info.Attempting to rack the slide with the lock out engaged can damage the hammer strut.
It's certainly lighter than my Leatherman. The key is very useful, it's been in my Keychain for years. It can turn screws, pry things open, all kinds of stuff. It just never locks the gun.

If that was for me, it was by checking the gun that I determined that I needed a key.Not to be snarky but does your HK have the hammer bearing with the lockout? They do make a hammer bearing without a lock.
Lol...nice...but I keep doing that and it doesn't fix the issue! No. You have to buy another HK to get one.
Thanks again; key arrove today.PM me your addy and I'll drop one in the mail.
