No difference in performance. IMHO the reason for the switch was theoretical at best, based on two things, that the 9x19mm case has a slight taper as opposed to a straight wall case, and the Teutonic penchant for over thinking/engineering things sometimes. I bought a bunch about 8 years ago, when I first got into the MP5 stuff. They were about $20 each back then. The straight ones don't work as well in the clones and that's what I was shooting for years, in full auto. The curved ones fed more reliably. So my straight ones have been sitting on a shelf for 8 years. I recently got an SP5k and turned it into a sear gun. I tried one of the old straight mags and it worked perfectly. Are the straight mags any good Compared to the 30 round mags?
