@thedoorman any chance that we may be able to get the MR308 sooner than end of summer?

I want one if somebody is keeping a list for a group buy, etc.

I think H&K needs to offer a MR5556A4 SBR.

Thanks,
D.

It doesn’t look like there will be any type of group buy unless the good folks at AU wanted to do one for the group here..

They have restocked, however today is the shipping date for the initial orders. We shall see if these are for real.

I am pretty sure these are stateside - I ordered some spare MR223 cases they had on sale and got a shipping notification last night

Man, I want one of these 11 inch guns bad really didn’t want an SBR. I was hoping to just throw a brace on it. I already have an MR556 A4. The question for me, is it worth spending $6000 to get a real MR223, tough decision as that would stretch my budget, but I would love to have one!

Just get the black upper/lower/stock today and build it as pistol (after getting lower part kit elsewhere).

Or for RAL8000, just buy the RAL lower today and start your search for the RAL upper and other parts. Then build it as a pistol. They say the hunt is more fun than the kill. :)

I just had a lower made to match my upper from them. Seems kinda sketchy to import non-sellable rifles, sell all the parts separately, and offer matching numbers...... All from the same place.

So after reading absolutely every thread in this post…any honest opinions if these MR223’s are 100% German? Is there not a way to look up a lower’s serial number with HK Germany? (May be a total stupid question). I already bought one and kind of trying to “ignore” everything and buy the sausage on believing the 100% German including the lower. But a part of me does wonder how on earth these made their way here as complete rifles and bypassed 922r and a bunch of other stuff. Of course, I would rather someone tell me that these are in fact 100% genuine MR223’s and not STS lowers etc…

Watch how many people buy these lowers, to find and gouge the owners of the matching uppers. That seems to be common in the HK world. Buy stuff to resell, rather than own.

Agreed. Personally I did buy mine to keep. Have been wanting one forever and couldn’t afford the 10k secondary market price tag. For 6k, bit the bullet, still overpriced but I was willing. It would be nice to see that the rifle I bought for 6k went up in value in all honesty. Nevertheless I bought it to own and keep

I wish the magwell said HK416. Personally not a big fan of paying a decent amount for the MR223/MR556 marked lower receivers alone. If these were to be clone lowers that have been marked MR223 id be upset as a buyer. If they are actual lower receivers that have been separated from the uppers then imported. I am very curious why this is not done by other importers or HK USA.

this is ridiculous. they are not 416 lowers so no reason they should be marked as HK 416.

this is another example of you can't please all the people all the time. lol
