Check out the lastest Hk P2000 .pdf, now with P30 info on it!

:680:
you know you want to...

Also, (and this is important), it almost looks as if the 15-rd 9mm magazine from the P30 will fit inside a P2000 9mm!! Judging from the exploded/schematic drawings from the P2000/P30 owner's manual.

IF that is the case, we need 'X-Grip' to make something for the P2000 w/ a 15-rd P30 mag like they do for the P2000sk's. But checking out Hk's part numbers, found this to be rather interesting:

15-round P30 Mag followers is the SAME part number as the 13-round P2000 9mm magazine followers. Also they share the identical locking plate for the bottom of the mag spring.

They differ (part number-wise), only in the mag body (15-rds vs. 13 rds) and the basplates (P30 vs P2000). All being 9x19 of course.

This leads me to believe that with a quick change of baseplates, you can convert the P30 15-round magazine and put it into the P2000 by just attaching a P2000 magazine baseplate onto the P30 magazine itself by 1st removing the P30's baseplate.

This is critical, the height of both pistols (P2000 & P30) are 5.43 inches or 138mm.

Looks to be another Hk typo...Owner's manual for both P30 & P2000 hieght dimensions is the same at 5.43".

I guess the P30 mags inside a P2000 will need a 'X-Grip' of some type for the ~.40 inch extra in height.
