hk p30s 9mm/10RD. out of stock everywhere ? why?

Could be that HK makes and imports things in batches. From reading a lot of responses in the HK CS forum, there is a lot of stuff due May-June-July 2012.

We could also be seeing the post SHOT Show depletion of stock (good thing for HK and other manufactures), and be waiting for the stock to resupply.

You are not the only one waiting. I made a trade at a LGS in November and am still waiting on my P30S to arrive.

Ummm....I would check on that if I were you. Something is not right, and it's just not going to magically fix itself and arrive. Buds has P30S's in stock, so you could have had your P30S for the last 6 months.

I have checked and all is well. I made a trade and was allowed top dollar for my trade in so waiting is not a problem. I already have a bunch of guns that hardly ever get shot. The P30 would be no different. The dealer in question has a wonderful reputation and has said several times that I could use my store credit at any time for another purchase. No worries here.

From the looks of it, I think TooSixy bought them all...

Would it be a better idea just to buy a v2 or v3 and purchase new springs? It seems that it's just the v1 gun that's impossible to get. Is there a reason *not* to do that?

10 rounders? I've bought a bunch of 15 rd P30 mags... no use for the 10rd mags.

It all depends on what state you live in. Many LIBERAL States do not allow more than 10 round magazines. In fact, there are States (guess which ones) want to ELIMINATE all semi-auto ANYTHING.

My distributor has only 236 10 round magazines in stock, so how many do you need??
They are however $55 each and I don't stock 10 rounders.

Hi guys; I'm pumped; finally paid for and waiting for ship; on my hkp30s / 9mm to mate with my hk45c; can't wait to shoot it; hope the over talked about trigger reset isn't as bad as it made out to be; only held one at gun shop and had the feel to die for; I'd rather not spend more for a reset reduction job; over the rather high initial cost already; I love the 45c's trigger. John
