Guys, I am new to the forum. I have purchase a new to me, used HK P7 M8, this is my second one. I have having issues of firing the pistol. It seems to leave a "light" strike on the primer, not enough to fire the cartridge. Again, I purchase it second hand on this pistol. it leave a light mark on the primer. I took the firing pin out to clean the spring and the firing pin. can the spring be weak? or the Firing pin "worn"

MY other M8 has been extremely reliable, no jams, no misfire etc....

I am very perplex about this one I just purchased.

TIA

Send it to James for a complete disassembly and cleaning. he will replace the necessary springs and check your piston with the no go gauge. It is a lot less than you think and it will give you years of trouble free enjoyment.
