As I understand it, starting with the USP, then the P2000 line was introduced and then the P30 line. Can someone tell me, or supply a link ... what was the reason for the P2000 and then the P30. Were the developments driven by customer demands (Police/military requests) or just "improvements to the pistol offerings? and if so, what are the design improvements. Was it mainly driven by "adjustable grips?"

Was the LEM trigger introduced with the P2000?

I realize the VP pistols are the latest, but I'm not really interested in striker fires pistols.
