So I’m really curious what “something big” is for Summer 2021....and how you heard about it. Regardless I’m excited all future HK offerings!

 

Something big is speculation only and that’s coming from HK’s sales reps, who can’t keep a secret to save themselves. I wouldn’t put too much faith into it, but when it comes I’m sure we’ll all feel that much poorer.

 

I feel poorer purely from getting on their website!

I've started looking at VP9 release info for the VP9 write up for WOHK (still working on USC & UMP though). I'm not sure where you get as specific as day of month, like your "VP9 OD Green 3/17/2017". I've been purchasing all the catalogs I can to get a sense of timing of releases, so if there's a better source, let me know so I can stop spending money.
Anyway, here's what I have to add to your list above:
VP40 04/2015
I show 4/2017 for OD, Gray and RAL7008 - so if you have 3/2017 for OD, it's likely for all 3 colors.

 

Dates are approximations, not exact in some cases. It’s just stuff I’ve noted over the years as announcements come out.

 

Is the mp5 22 a reissue of the retired one That was made by walther and licensed by HK? The prices on the older ones have gone sky high.

 

The MP5 22LR is going to be made by HK just like they have been doing with the HK416 22LR.

 

Did HK take over production from Umarex recently?

Where is the official announcement about the mp5 22? I'm excited about that one, but haven't seen any official info?

 

Actually it’s been rumored since the SP5 news broke in December 2019. I’m surprise nothing has been announced officially yet, but COVID probably has a lot to do with it.

 

ahh ok, so just speculation so far? I saw an actual pic of an mp5 22 pistol in another thread, so thought maybe it came from some sort of announcement. Wondering what the stock options will be for SBR'ing, if it does actually come out. Looks like the old mp5 22s weren't compatible with real mp5 stocks?

 

If the new MP5/22 comes out I hope it will use existing HK pattern and not the previous special one.

 

I was just looking at a distributor HK product list and listed as New Coming Soon was:

Looks like the rumor is real, but it didn’t state any date for release or show a picture.

 

What distributor? I'm seeing a few more, with some being distributor exclusives. Not seeing an ETA either, albeit only semi 22lr I care much for being the 10/22 platform.

The mp5 22 sounds cool, not a big 22 guy but regret not picking up HK licensed mp5 22 models and now GB folks want nutty prices for them also wanted the G36 one.

Maybe a .22 MP7 hmmmm ? Let me grind the rumor mill monkey a while.

 

Wait wait how about an SP5 rifle? Yea that's the ticket!

 

Would be a dream to see them make a SP7 in pistol form even if chambered in a different caliber like a 5.7
