I haven't shot my HK94 in about 25 years. I took it to the range today to shoot it and brought my factory HK sight tool along to adjust the sights if need be. The gun was shooting a little low but it appears the factory HK sight tool is not unlocking the sight drum so I can rotate the drum and raise it up. I have used the sight tool in the past on my HK91 and HK93 and it works fine, so I know there is nothing wrong with the sight tool. Is there a special trick to using the HK sight tool with the HK94 factory drum sight or does the HK94 need a different sight tool from the HK91/93?
Note: Possibly the lubricant in the sight drum has hardened over the years and frozen the mechanism???
