Do all date codes on sp89 supose to have to match? A friend of mine got a NEW in a box 89 with KA receiver but the carrier and barrel on it are JA coded. is it frankenstein?
How did Hans came up with skipping J for receivers only? *oktoberfest idea? *Anyone know of reasoning behind this?It is fairly common to have non-matching date codes. The letter "J" is not used for marking receivers; only parts. See link below.
