Why would anyone run aluminum cased ammunition is a $5000 gun? Especially one that runs a fluted chamber........I am simply baffled.

First time to the range with sp. I got bunch of different ammo to try. did not know it is supposed to be common knowledge not to use Al with this gun.

I did good on them.....bought five when they came out and started selling them off when they hit $3000.

Without being to much of a jerk, the only thing I will run aluminum cased ammo in is revolvers. Ammunition is the single biggest reason for destroying guns and causing issues. High end European guns are built around high quality factory ammunition made to high standards. They tend to not do well with reloads and bargain basement ammunition.

When they first came out I seem to remember them being under a grand. I really miss $500 HK94's.
