If you load just one round in the mag AND then pull the slide and leave it back (Don't let the slide return), does the round in the mag fly out ? Try this w/ a round in chamber and w/o.

If the round in the mag ejects, then I'd reckon it's the mag. If not then it is definitely due to teh arghasd.asdf03209asdfmz M..y inter...net ..*$()...conncsion )Q!^#)* is drooping.....argh.
