Just because you have never dropped a mag, with a used weapon you can't be sure who owned it & how it was treated. I would buy a new magazine (hey, at the very worst you will have a new one to use & compare) and see how things work. The WWB ammo does have a lot of QC issues, but this sounds more like a feeding problem than anything else & the weak link here is likely a magazine. The weapon is probably fine, and someone was using the mags to do quick changes on a hard pavement or surface. The USP 40 should run many thousands of rounds without a problem, but magazines are sometimes hard to see a change in. Just my 2 cents worth...

Well i bought the gun new but i do plan on buying some new mags. After all These are polymer mags and the feed lips do look a little gummed up. I would like to buy some of the steel magazines. I think the gun is fine too becuase i had it for a little over two months and put about 1000 rounds through it without any problems.

The USPf doesn't have a steel magazine option to my knowledge...polymer with steel reinforcements

. . . you have no round in the chamber when this happens? and you have to rack the slide to fire again?

Is this correct?
It happens with the last two rounds of the magazine. I fire the one that is in the chamber and it ejects the spent case as well as the last round in the magazine and the slide does not lock to the rear.

Hi guys i found the source of the problem. Its hard to explain but what was happening was the rounds were stacking in the magazine wrong. In other words when looking at the back of the magazine (the holes that show the round count) i can see the number 8 round is missing. I can see two stacked in the number 9 slot and one in the 10 spot. I took a picture but it turns out i cant post it. I hope you guys can picture what i am trying to explain. Anyways thanks for all of your help.
