I would love to know the backstory on these. They look darker than the ones I got from Sol but that may just be the lighting in the picture.

 

Trying to determine if these are worth it. I would like to build one, but feel you could just buy one for less.

Looks to be from the old AE production runs (AE on the inner frame), but its interesting to see the "EPS Imports - Chandler AZ" on the bottom plate with the serial number only inside the frame.

They said: "We don't have any further information on them. We were offered them from a supplier and purchased them."

Yes, the prefix calls out the original Model/Caliber

Serial number is on the inside of the frame where the guide rod sits.

 

Does anyone know how common this is or if it was for a particular use (LE, military, etc)? I've never seen that before.

 

While I don't know why he has them beyond what has already been said, I will say Moka is G2G. You can buy from him with confidence, anything he has is legit, at least as far as his involvement goes.

 

I ordered one. I can't remember if it's 9 or 40 but I have a complete expert slide assembly laying around somewhere.

This could be a real unicorn but, maybe no real demand.. An OD Green AE date coded frame serialized for 9mm. They only came out with 40s back in the old AE run. Anyone know how many he listed originally? There were 5 in stock when I ordered.

 

I just snagged the last one. Waffled for a couple of days but knew I would regret not buying it.
