Hey folks
I have a couple quick questions about the HK270. I have seen them made in a few different ways. One has a grooved receiver for a scope rings, while the other is drilled for a mount. Does anyone know if a drilled receiver without the groove was done at the factory? Thanks

Sorry for the late reply, am deployed to Afghanistan and don't always have access to the internet. I own six of these rifles, from serial number 024 made in 1976 to a couple in the 5xxx series. All have the dove tail groove for scopt rings, even if they have the HK 91 front/rear sights. One even has a factory threaded barrel for a suppressor.
