Sweet! do you know where they normally pop up or where to look out for them? Gunbroker.com? I'd be willing to drop some money on one.
A few real deal semi-only HK416D lowers were sold on gunbroker.

The recent complete HK416D kits with matching upper and serial number were offered by a reputable FFL.

Search for hk416d lower, and you should get some its on this forum. Including a recent thread on how some kits had the barrels comestically marred.

Welcome to HKPro!!

We need more HK416 gun porn to kick off the weekend. How about posting some pics?

Hamster37?? You got lots of cool guns although your camera skillz I have to say sux. Hahahaha.

Nsheers??

Come on guys. We need more pics! : )

I'll start. Pics are a bit dated and based on a few trips to the gun range over the last few months.

The HK416 10.4" with SureFire shorty suppressor is dwarfed by the MR762 13" Assaulter build with the full length SureFire suppressor. Contrast will be larger if beside the "regular" 16.5" MR762.

Not talking about overall length (OAL) since the MR762 13" with shorty suppressor isn't that much longer compared with the 10.4" with shorty suppressor. But talking about the MR762 just physically bigger in every way. Thicker, bigger, etc.

HK416 10.4" and HK416 14.5". Both kitted out the same with the exception of Optics and hand guards.

In a few weeks, I will be making sure ALL the SureFire Scout lights are moved to the 5 o'clock position and attached directly to the handguard.

Really digging the Remington Defense RAHG. But as many alluded, it really ain't worth 3 to 5 times the price of a Geissele.

HK416 10.4" with the fun switch.

As mentioned buying a "drop-in" RDIAS isn't the only thing that needs to be done. Need to get a different/Full Auto Fire Control Group (FCG). If using Geissele hammer, the Full Auto hammer is different from the semi-only hammer. And the Full Auto hammer is NOT on the Geissele website. I had to call in to inquire. The sales person had no clue what I was talking about and had to transfer to their Tech team who immediately knew what I was asking about.

He was just surprised that a lowly civilian was asking about the HK416 Full Auto Geissele hammers. Took me a while to convince him that I had a legal machine gun and needed the right part. : )

Bought the MR556 lower used from a fellow HKPro member. Normally I don't have any FA engravings, but this one came with it. Must admit it looks pretty good although I have no intention of engraving the other MR556 lowers. Too much hassles. More importantly, I am too cheap. : )

Close-up of the Registered DIAS. As mentioned previously, I am constantly amazed by the "engraving" on some of the RDIASes out there. I looked at a bunch and passed on them more for functional reasons (abused, thin walls, heavily modified, etc). The engraving or rather chicken scratch shocked me.

My other RDIAS looks professionally engraved. 2mm to 3mm deep stencil type font. This one looks like a kid took a pen knife to carve the registration number on it. Thank goodness the engraving is in multiple locations + more importantly in places with no contact to moving parts.

Thanks to the HKPro folks who educated me on RDIASes. You guys know who you are, and you guys rock!!

At a class in 2014. The HK45CT was/is missing the taller sights, but I was so excited to finally get the AAC-TiRant approved that I brought it along to shoot the heck out of it.

The HK416es were all locked. I take no chances when flying with guns! I've never been shot before, but I have a strong feeling I am allergic to lead!!

The noggin protector was awesome. Thankfully, I wasn't shot in the head during the Force-on-Force training, but I was shot quite a few times role playing bad guys. Holy crap. Those freaking SIM/UTM rounds hurt like a mo-fo. I had bruises and welts everywhere.

Jokes aside, it was fun and a great learning experience. I would highly recommend CQB training in SIM/UTM environment. This is as close as I will hopefully get to with somebody shooting at me

As much as I love my HKs, I love shooting them more. No safe queens for me!!

I take great care of my guns, but I definitely "exercise" them on a regular basis.

Getting the BATF to transport SBRs across State lines took much longer than anticipated. 6 weeks vs the normal 2 weeks. Thank goodness anal obsessive compulsive me applied months before the class

Geissele MR556 semi-only hammer

Geissele HK416 Full-Auto hammer. Notice the physical difference.

I hardly think that is the case....

very nice buddy!
I am indeed cheap. Value-conscious is a better term.

I don't mind paying for high quality products/services. Just don't like over-paying for worthless stuff.

And HKs are worth every single penny!

@AGG and alvar. Thanks. Glad you guys enjoyed the pics!

Here's mine, although I'm now exceptionally jealous having read through this thread, and seen what you guys are allowed to have!
Only been able to use it a few times so far, but loving every minute of it.

Drooler, that is an exceptional setup with the registered DIAS. Very nice. Did the MR556 lower receiver have to be modified at all to fit in that component? I like the full auto markings too. Any reason you don't go with an HK416 fire control group? Since it's a machine gun, you could use 100% German parts with the exception of the RDIAS.

@sweersa
Tks an inch. Glad you like it.

The MR556 lower did NOT need to be modified in any way shape or form.

I actually can't recall details regarding the FCG. I want to say I went with the Geissele because the trigger is much better. And when not shooting full auto, I like the feel of the Geissele trigger when shooting semi auto.

Hope that makes sense. You got me thinking though. I'll go look the next time I'm at the gun range.

So many minor mods that my brain is mush!

HK416 10.4" with the 14.5" vented gas block. Running like the German machine it is. Smooth like butter...

In Full auto and slow-mo.

For me, the only thing that can beat it is being surrounded by Dan Bilzerian's "friends" while we shoot HKs.

Special tks to IG TB5252 for the inspiration - of shooting the HK416 14.5" without the handguard.

On a related note, it's without a handguard because I'm waiting for my Geissele handguard! : )

Vid of the HK416 in full auto and slow-mo. Enjoy the gun porn!
