HK45 LEM Re-assembly issue - super heavy trigger pull!

Hi forum,

I just took apart my HK45 to replace the TRS with the light LEM spring. Upon putting everything back together, everything functions well until the hammer spring goes in. Putting the hammer spring in is very difficult and after getting it in, the trigger pull is SUPER HEAVY (like 20lb!).

Something is obviously not together right. I took it all apart and put it together again with the same result. Anyone know what could be going on?

What LEM variant did your gun come from factory? Did you swap or pick up the wrong HS?

may be a silly question, but in the interest of covering all the bases, did you rack the slide and get a very heavy trigger pull?
Sorry, I should clarify - the "single action" pull is great, but the "double action" is gritty and heavy. It wasn't like that before!
Well, I'm not sure what was wrong. I disassembled and reassembled twice and it's back to normal.

My only guess is that something was binding up, and greasing it up the last time solved it.
