I am about to get an X300. I want a light that is as badass as my pistol. The TLR-1s is great and all, but the X300 seems tougher.

I am very upset with Safariland that they have yet to make a 6004 or 6005 for it.

But they do make a 6280 for it. But the only one I can find is the dumb basket weave holster. Anyone know the code for the smooth black one? Not the golssy finish, just the flat black. Because optics planet did something dumb to their holster portion of the site and it sucks now. You can't look anything up.

You could always buy the 6005 and remove the holster portion and re-install it to the mount for a standard duty belt.

That right there is a sound Idea. Now I just need to get the order code for the right holster. It will be costly though.

True, but if you play it right, you could buy the duty type holster for another weapon and have the potential to mount that on the drop leg. I have done what I described with a Glock22/X300 holster and looking at my others (HK45, 1911, Sig226) they all have screws mounted in the same configuration and can be interchanged.

Me too, and I am glad they made one, I was about to be upset. I have the perfect holster for my USP 45/UTL. So I wanted to be able to do the same for the HK45. It will also take both the TLR-1s, and the X300.

Do you think they only come in black though?

I am going to need it in Tan and OD I think. Thanks for the feedback, are the codes different? off by a few numbers? Those links wouldn't work for me, the codes did for the holster. But not the safariland link.

I will do some digging and see if I can find it. Don't let me sound lazy or all "Hey go find it for me"

I bet it would fit the one for the P30... you'd have to loosen it up a bit, but that is not a problem with plastics...

as fo the OP, it's already been mentioned... get the 6280, and by the leg shroud seperate.... then just unscrew the holster from the belt backer, and screw it to the leg shroud... thats what I did a long time ago..... also, I see you're going with FDE and tan now, but STX Tactical is the flat black (not shiny) finish you initially were looking for....

as for getting the holster(s)... short of direct order from Safariland (expensive), Opticsplanet seems to have a huge selection for the best price, but it seems order time is a bit long. couple of the guys at work have ordered their HK45 holsters through them.

Do you have specific requirements for the holster, or are you just looking for a good holster?

Garrett Industries makes a drop leg called the Silent Thunder Tactical that accomidates the X300 and lists the HK45.

I'm pretty sure Raven and Kaluban Cloak will also support that configuration.

yep, same holster... it works both condition 1 (cocked & locked) or condition 2 (hammer down, round chambered, ie. LEM).
