Lay the frame sideways (on its right side), then after making sure the trigger bar is in its correct position (laying on top of the Trigger Bar Detent), use one of your thumbs to push the trigger bar against the right side of the frame and keep pushing down while inserting the Trigger Axle. It takes a little practice and after a few tries you'll get a hang of it. It is also helpful to tape the Hammer Strut to the frame using a piece of painter's tape so it doesn't move out of place when you're doing this.
The HK45/HK45C is a little more difficult than the USP series when it comes to this part of the conversion process.
