HK45c Tactical at my LGS/Please HELP!!

So I had a line on a USP 40 tactical but someone less busy than myself sneaked up and stole it from me. But all things happen for a reason I guess.

I was at my LGS today and they have NIB HK45c tactical on sale. It has all the standard mags and box with it. The question I have is its listed at $960. Is it just me or is that a really good deal. I have no reference for comparison. Gunbroker isn't listing any right now. So I am asking the HK nation what they think. If I get the go ahead from enough members I will go pick it up tomorrow. Hell I might just get it anyways after holding it. Its a sweet, no nonsense pistol for sure. Thanx ahead for any feedback.

I am in the Detroit area and just paid $1062 at my LGS and was thrilled.

When the online stores had them, they were upwards of $1100 and $1200. I don't know if places are getting them back in stock but one sold on ARFCOM for $1300. Used

I've never seen a new one for under four figures. Locally, I've seen one - literally one - for $1030

I paid $1190 for mine a few months ago. If it is a true factory tactical, go for it! Hold on, is it the Hk45CT or the USP45CT?
$960 sounds right for the USP45CT, but if it is the Hk45CT then BUY IT!!!

Its the brand new HK45c tactical. I am going in first thing tomorrow AM and getting it. I think the clerk could tell I was trying to hide my excitement. But he told me it wasn't a mistake $960 is the price they want.

did you put it on hold? if not id be worried. well atlast in my experience, guns like that tend to fly off of the shelves. hope its still there for ya

I wouldn't think twice about buying it at that price, even if it was used. I've been looking for one for a few months. The only one I seen was at a Detroit area gun store for $1450. Buy it then brag about what a good deal you got. Then let me know when they get another one in.

Silver bullet firearms in Grand Rapids has one right now for $1130 if your are interested. I'm about 95% sure thats the price they told me over the phone. That was 3 days ago and they did have one in stock

Thanks. Will call in the morning. I have a ffl that's had one on order for about 3 months now and 2 LGSs trying to get one for me. No luck yet

I am using some money from another pistol I am selling to get this HK45CT. But my buyer is not meeting me until a week from tomorrow. So I went in and put $500 down on it today to keep it held in my name. I should have it by early that next week. But at least its not going to anyone else. It was about $1,010 after tax. What a STEAL!!!!

Honestly I think the 45 ACP is kind of the best guns HK makes. When I think of HK pistols the 45 always comes to mind. Maybe its because of the MK23 or the new HK45 series. If you don't have a HK in 45 no collection is complete without it. And trust me I know about the whole HK's corrupting your life thing. I think I've hit rock bottom

I have been scouring the internet looking for one of the tactical models and they are pretty scarce. I did find one on gunsamerica but is pretty pricy at about $1300. Think I will hold off and try finding a better price.
