[GPD45]

Hello Hk CS. I just picked up yesterday my NIB Hk45CT (BB date code) and have a few questions. First, why does the rear sight appear that is has been used/abused for yrs with little or no finish? Second, why does my NIB US made Hk45CT have gouges in the picitinny rail teeth? I will attach pics later.

Can you advise?

We cannot account for what happens to or how many people handle a pistol when it leaves our facility (to distributor, dealer, etc...) Post pictures and we will determine what we can do.

You're not along. I've got the light scratches as well on the rear sight when I pulled it out of the box new. No gouges though...

CS1, I do not necessarily expect you (Hk) to do anything because I certainly understand when the product leaves you there is no responsibilty on your end. I would assume that the picitinny rail teeth are extremely strong and will not break off? The gouges (small) seem to be on the surface. I do appreciate your attention. BTW, have you receive any new 2012 catalogs yet? I have tried to obtain one by email & ph# several times without success.

Saw your other post in HK CS forum about the missing O-rings. You should have gotten 5 extra O-rings with your new HK45CT. That's what came with both of my HK45C.

I've owned my HK45 with a BB date code for about a month; it came with extra o-rings. It also did not have any flaws on the finish or sights. The shop that ordered it received it in 2 days. I picked it up quickly so the dealer could not use it as a demonstration gun, in case he was tempted to do so....since he did not have any HKs on display in the store. I know I'm late on this but just wanted to help.

Call them Xurceht. I spoke to Travis and he told me that the Hk45/45C pistols are suppose to come with extra o-rings.

Your HK45CT was it a 'home made' one or factory one? What kind of sights did it come with? Any other extras over the standard HK45C?

Oh and does anyone know their CS hours for calling? I couldn't find it on the website. I work nights so I'm usually asleep during normal business hours.
