Hey guys! I was hoping someone could identify this stamping on the bottom of a newly acquired HK91 retractable stock for me. I can’t seem to find anything about it anywhere else on the web. Anyone know what it is and what it means?
that's pretty typical for European firearms, and some other countries, to stamp the last 3 digits of the firearm's SN on all the parts in that firearm. it keeps soldiers from mixing their parts with some other soldiers firearms parts.
when a reutilized replace part is put on, due to unserviceability , the numbers that are on there, are X'd out and the number of the SN to that firearm is stamped
