So, a few years ago, I came across a company selling HK93 and 53 receivers that had a modified mag well that allowed the to use ar15 magazines and magazine release.

Just to note, these were not G41 receivers but actual 93 and 53 receivers.

I was wondering if anyone else has ever come across these?

Also, why hasn't anyone made a G41 receiver? Or is there someone who is?

The receivers were sold by Todd Bailey (please see above) through his parts company. There were two models. There was a SW (for special Weapons) 53 AR , which had a notch in top front of the receiver. This was because Todd's 53 clone that used AR mags, the Coharie Arms CA53 AR pistol, had a different system for the installation of the cocking tube that HK used on their 53 model. He also sold a SW93 AR receiver. I bought a bunch of SW53 AR and SW93 AR receivers and had Jeff build me 53Ks, 53s, and 33Ks with either SW53 AR or SW93 AR receivers. So all but one of my 5.56X45 roller locks use AR mags.

Sure, blackmarketparts aka Special Weapons had some receivers that took ar15 mags. Not factory HK, but might be what you are thinking of. Currently, Brethren has it as an option, but I think they are using Moore Advanced Dynamics to do the mag well conversion.

Is the MAD 33 AR rifle still being built?

Sear pack ready?
