Specifically these: HK93, HK33, HK53 30rd Magazine, RTG Gun Parts

I like that they're like the G36 magazines that I've used before, and they're much cheaper than the metal factory mags(even though I generally stick with factory ones exclusively).

Has anyone has success with these? Are they well made? Is it worth me picking one up and trying it out?

Use your search button. There have been discussions on these in the past couple of months. Here are some of the links.

From what I've read in these threads these mags generally fit the HK93 and V93/53, but the C93 and some others require fitting. That last sentance is not a hard and fast rule as each 93/33 gun can be different.

No sh!t? Maybe you're not looking good enough. I picked up a dozen for my buddy at the last Berea gun show for $29 apiece. You telling me I lost $50 on each mag?

Just picked up 10 of the 25 round mags for $275.
There you go... that'll get you a couple "atta boys" and 3 slaps on the back. Strong is the search-fu in this one.

I have a C93 and yes, a little fitting is needed. No more sloppy fitting 40's. I took a little off the back inside of the mag well with a dremel (Slowly) and a file. I also had to cut the catch slot (on the mag) longer toward the center of the mag. I also did just a little work on the mag at the front and rear. Get an exacto knife and trace around the catch after you get the mag to seat. this will show you how much to take off the catch slot. There is a shelf on the sides of the mag that should meet the bottom of the mag well for correct depth. These are very good mags.

I got mine from HK Specialist.
MKE 30rnd $ 25.99
HK Specialist - Product Display MKE 30
MKE 10 Round $21.99 (Makes it nice to shoot on the bench from a bag.)
HK Specialist - Product Display MKE 10

I also cut the connecting tabs off so I could put them into a tac vest without them hanging up. You can not stick them together and use them with the wide forearm. There is not clearance on the outside front of the mag well. If you had a thin forearm, or cut the wide (ugly) then it would work. See how the mag well is covered in the last picture?
