I know that the lower capacity steel magazines are mostly German, but what about those steel 40 rounders that show up now and then? Are those German or are they from somewhere else?

Most are older 1980's Max capacity mags. They are still pretty good quality. They dont dent and bend like the maylasian alloy 40's.

Sorry, Yes, U.S. made, but they are usually completely unmarked. They tend to bring a premium since they are steel and 40rds. I have seen them sell for $75-$100 ea depending on condition and quanity.

Hold it--- the alloy with the follower marked "6/1/76" (January 6, 1976) are Malaysian??? :biggrin:
MCP/LIQ manufactured the steel for the HK93 and Valmet 71/76. :wink:
