Arms Unlimited. Somebody buy it before I buy that one too! I just snagged the SP89 for a decent price.

DO IT KB! DO IT!

It's a pretty decent deal.
It'll be sold by the morning. I'll be walking to work for the next week for my financial indiscretions this evening.

(kidding)
I think I did a bad thing:)

I think that you did a good thing. Even if the market is getting softer for firearms as it currently is, I can't see that an HK94 is ever going to get below that.

We'll have to compare notes when they arrive. I've dealt with AU several times before, they pack and ship very well and quickly.
"Decent price" huh? You made out like a bandit!

I clicked on the SP89 the second I got the email and it was already gone. Congrats!
Andrew I still have mine that I purchased back in the 80s. It's still NIB and never fired!

Looking at a Mid Life Update style build ala a couple of years ago at SHOT/NRA. I have the Aimpoint and shroud and an F kit...
Well turns out to be too good of a deal to be true. Just call a email from AU saying they could no longer go through with the sale as the gun was on consignment and the owner showed up this morning saying he changed his mind and wanted to keep it. Mr. Maim may be in the same boat. Ouch!
Oh wow, what a bummer! I'm sorry to hear they let you down like that...man, I would be pissed!

I got an email requesting my FFL Certificate at 10:30am. Perhaps I should call AU.

EDIT: Just called and the lady in sales is SO UPSET about the HK94. She said that the seller came back in and wanted it back and because they didn't buy it from him, rather are doing a consignment sale, technically they do not own it so they can't fight back. The guy probably told someone he knew it was for sale for $4K and they offered him significantly more. No integrity.

Sorry @Player_To_Be_Named... , that really stinks.

(the seller apparently did not have the same feeling towards the SP89: it's shipping today. I've never felt bad about a firearm purchase until today...)

I'll keep a look out for you PTBN.

Some day when I come and visit you in the beautiful state of Wyoming, I'm going to smudge fingerprints all over that NIB gun!
