HKparts P30 threaded barrel.

I bought one a few months back. I'm a nervous nelly. I winced ever time I pulled the trigger with a suppressor screwed on. HKparts has been great with me so far, but I still counldn't blindly trust in the machining work, even though I'm sure HKparts went through their own QC. HKparts contrated out the work to a local machininst, so I was told. Well, they did a good job. I asked Ted of Ritten Precision (local long range shooter and precision rifle builder) to test the barrel.

Interesting...thanks for posting that!

Now if Hkparts would just get some more of those dang barrels cut or if Hk would just do it them selves I could finally get one too!

What are you doing for sights?

.
Superimposing stock sights (for now). Don't laugh. You'd be amazed how accurate... I will put Heinie Suppressor heights on one eventually.

But frankly, Steve, it's just a toy barring some sort of apocalypse. I can't shove a P30 in my pants with a suppressor, so there's that.

Very nice!
I just picked up a P30L barrel from them to have threaded. Wish I could have gotten one pre-threaded...

if its accurate, why change it? use the stock sights and consider the suppressor outline as part of the target. bullet goes where the center dot covers. no problem for me shooting center mass 25yds and closer the few times i have used a can.
