Hi guy's happy to be part of the HKPROcom, i'm a proud new owner of a p2000 9mm v3. was wondering if any of you are carry it IWB and what holster you are using. should be able to get out this weekend to the conservation club and try her out, looks like in the manual they say to only use brass ammo, any comments would be great.

thanks R58

WELCOME TO HKPRO!

I always use only brass ammo in all of my H&K's especially when they are brand new.

I recommend Galco Holsters and the Skyops IWB is one of the best... check it out at USGalco.com

Welcome and enjoy this wonderful forum. I am sorry to say that I do not own a P2000 in 9mm . so as far as the holster I wouldn't be able to help much there.

The brass is an issue I would use at least till you get a few hundred rounds through it. 400-500 Should be plenty.

Remember there is no such thing as a dumb question (unless it's one of mine!) lol

Happy & Safe Shooting and also take a friend shooting sometime. TJ
thanks

I was looking at the galco, might wait a couple of weeks to order, you know save up a little money first, and shop alittle more.:71:

thanks for the reponses

The Kramer IWB #3 will serve you well:

Also, depending on your local ammo market, you might be able to save a little by purchasing CCI Blazer ammo. I know here in AZ, I can buy a box of Blazer about a $1 or so cheaper than the ever popular WWB from Wal Mart. And yes, my HK eats it right up, along with my son's Storm and my wife's Kahr.

I've used IWB rigs from Wilson Combat, Gun Leather USA, and Don Hume. The Gun Leather, made by a small one man shop, I found thru Gun Broker is by far the best at under $40 shipped. I have a High Noon IWB on order, but their production time is 4 months. Pricing is fair though at just under $100. Galco and DeSantis make a good product if you don't want a high end custom job from one of the top name makers with a long wait time. Some of Galco's designs are a synthetic leather "pleather" that will hold up probably longer than you or I. I have a 3-slot COP holster from them I like very well, it's a pancake design, but IWB is definitely my first choice for carry. Check out COMPTAC's selection, in particular their IWB like the C-TAC, it's used probably more than any other here among the members and I have yet to read any negative post about it. Here's a pic of mine, the Gun Leather is the all black (on the left), Wilson is the combo leather and suede (on the right), and the Don Hume a burgundy colored holster (in the middle).
