all i really have left on mp5 clone is to paint and test fire. now i want a 53 (already have a 93) but i want a 53. i will build it as a pistol for now and some day sbr it.

i realize its mp5 lenth on the front end and uses mp5 furniture. but a 53 parts kit is nooooooooot cheap, but 33 kits are.

if i grab a 33 kit what is invloved in using that to make a 53? i know i need a barrel, but what other parts can be reused? im guessing the tripple frame can be reused.

are their any build tutorials on the 53? i cant find any.

Everything is used. You just need a lathe and a mill to shorten and chop parts and a welder to... ummm... weld. You won't need the fore stock.
i was looking at the TB receivers and there is a 93 and a 53 and the only diff i see is the receiver is cut back for the charging handle and i dont quite get that..

There are several ways to do a 53. I used a 93 receiver and a 33 kit with a RCM 53 barrel.
I did one for a customer last year and he bought a 53 receiver to use. I prefer doing it on the 93 receiver.
