I was just wondering how far the round sticks in the belt. The pics show the round in the link machine, and I placed it on the feed mech. Does the belt need to come back closer to the primer end of the round? Or is it ok the way it is. TIA. Here goes my ammo supply. Lucky for me I have a 15 yr old boy chomping at the bit to load all my belts for me.

eh!.....ya might want to turn the bullit thingees the other way.
The tang on the belt locks in on the case by the primer end not on the shoulder.

Does the last link need to be trimmed?

I don't know if there is a difference between the 21, and 21e as for the last round needing to be trimmed. My 15 yr old is still chewing my ass for puting the belt in backwards. Thats what you get when your in haste. been one of those days.

Any specifics should be directed to Mike at Michaels Machines, since he built the gun. He will be able to give you any details on the best way to set it up.

Heres a pic. I tried the picture post on this forum and it never lets me post. Yesterday was a bad day. Got the call in the morning that the cabins next to mine are on fire. This is on highdrive at Estes Park Co. Luckily the wind was blowing the other direction. Some jackwagon was out burning his trash (probably didn't want to pay dump fees) in a barrel. Burned 20 acres and about 16 houses down. Its not like theres a huge fire in Poudre canyon just to the north. The exploding propane tanks were exciting.
