They're a 'deal' because nobody is buying them. LOL.

I would only be interested in it if I was a big .40 guy. I'm not going to spend 850 on a pistol in a caliber I don't care for. Besides, do you have a .40 or .45 caliber suppressor?

I would prefer just holding out for the .45 or the 9 as I have an 45Osprey and a Ryder 9. 230gr ball is naturally subsonic and 147gr subs are easy to reload.

"Worth" is entirely subjective. Nobody can answer that but you.

How is the HK USP 40 Tactical? Just fine and dandy. It's an HK.

Unless I'm mistaken, this forum does not permit caliber debates, so watch out for the never-ending 9mm v. 40SW caliber wars. :)

There seems to be a deal on these for 850 are they worth it ?
Buy from GM https://www.hkspecialiststore.com/product-detail?productId=1258

If you are into a threaded 40 cal its a great gun. 40 cal is losing market share to 9mm and 45acp and as others have mentioned is not the most popular caliber these days. 40 cal is not known as a great suppressor caliber either. This would be a great gun for an HK collection. It wouldn't be much of a shooter for me.

The reason I like the USP Tactical in 9mm is that I know I'm shooting the 9mm in and through a handgun specifically engineered to handle the 40SW. I think this makes the HK USP 9 one of the very finest 9mm handguns out there, more than capable for going a very, very, very long time shooting 9mm and more able to withstand 9mm +P loads as a result of being built for the 40SW as well.

The 9mm doesn't have the match trigger . I might have to look at a USP expert or elite

HK USA never updated their website after the release of the usp9 tactical in 2015....it still has the usp9sd information which, like 26y said, is no longer made. If you google it, you will find better information from other sources.
