I was wondering if anybody knew the process of changing the buffer on the HK model 4? It does not look like it just pops out. Or does it? Ive changed the one on my HK p9s. This looks like it comes out another way. Any help would be great.

I recently got myself a full hk4, with all the barrels and everything, but...the buffer was so old it crystallized and fell apart, I live in the Dominican republic, I cannot get a buffer sent, what material would be better to use to fabricate a buffer? btw, to answer your question, the buffer is supposed to be loose against the buffer plate, if the buffer is whole, you should be able to "tap" it out of its placement with say a small screwdriver, be careful, the buffer plate gets easily lost as it is also loose.
