Wondered after reading that Cutshaw report on the M4 how would the roller locker HKs fare in that dusty environment?

I know that Iran had G3s for many years, but replaced them with the AK series.

Anybody know of reliability tests or anecdotes referencing the reliability of these rifles in sand or dusty environments?
