There is a lot company that sell HK clones and sell a stripped down: basically a treat Like a Brownells stripped AR15!
Most people buy a complete PTR 91 or MP5 clone or other Hk models.
Then they upgrade the stock and then the buffer and wide forearms ,bipod, and AMBI trigger housing
and pack(with a trigger job). Then changing out your cocking handle.
Then most firearm owners kept the parts for back up or sell them on the internet.

Black Market part does this you can buy MP5K stripped down, and have it sent to your local FFL. ( This company website is down, I wonder if there still in business??)

Black market do not sell HK91 or HK91K !
or HK53/33.

OR.......Next you can have a company build you a rifle/SBR/ pistol or find you host gun and and buy F/A sear pack.

I like building rifle, I think this would sell more than a standard complete rifle/pistol/SBR.

Thanks ,from rainy Oregon.

They are history. You would have not know this since you have not been a member here very long.

Sorry did not know that.
My wish list for
HK clones would be :
PTR 91K
and SBR UMP 45.

HDPS corps will be making a UMP in Al. not plastic soon, They have been talking about this for 2 year.
I hear some pro types have be sold on arms list.com
for $845.00 UMP rec. (semi)

The days of cheap parts kits are long gone so there is no real incentive for a company to do something like this, when you can buy a whole rifle (PTR) for not much money.

The other issue is small companies usually are pretty tight on their profit margins. Selling a you assemble yourself may be a good deal for the end user but it makes it harder for the company building them to stay in the black by cutting out the potential for the extra profit on the details.

You do realize that a FA sear is going to run over $30K right? Someone that can lay out that kind of cash isn't worried about scrimping on getting a builder to put together a host to their specifications.

So have Jeff roll you a flat, weld in a barreled trunnion with front sight, weld in a cocking tube, and finish the barreled receiver. I would think he or other builders would do so for less than a full conversion build. Since I have a sear, I wanted barreled receivers. I had some grip housing clipped locally, but I didn't need complete firearms. He did them at a reduce the price.
