IGF 53 & YHM Phantom

been testing different ammo with my IGF 53SBR & YHM Phantom can.
With wolf, i was having some FTEs.
Tried some PMC 55gr FMJ BT & had 0 malfunctions !
It does quiet it down quite a bit !! Put it this way, the horse quits running around the pasture after i put the can on.
It was pretty windy out & the wife was filming so its kinda jerky , but gives a decent sound comparison for a video !!!
Dont have a happy switch yet ..... but its still fun !!
I Killed the heck outa a V8 Jug !!
Before anyone gives me a hard time .
Yes the gun was hot when i put the suppressor on after the first 3 rounds unsuppressed.
I put the gun on saftey before mounting the can.

Looks great. Jayson just cut and threaded my V53 and I haven't gotten out to the range yet. I have both a YHM SS Phantom and a Gemtech M4-96C and am still deciding which to choose but am looking forward to putting it through the motions, with my sear

Using an EoTech (552) as well.

Using an EoTech (552) as well.

I have had the chance to use a friends sear pack with the same setup in the above video !
MUCH more fun with the pack !!!!
I intend to get mine in 2012 !!!
Let's just hope the SD build , MP5 n build , & the can for the k gun don't deplete the savings

Cool video samot! How do you like the EO tech and what kind of mount did you use? The can does cut the noise considerably. Got any close ups of the mount for the can? The gun runs really well too. About how many mags can you run through it suppressed before things start getting too dirty for %100 reliable operation?

I favor the Eotechs , however that is all I've ever used !
Just got beat out of an aimpoint a couple days ago on here for cheap ....
Missed it by like 5 mins ........dangit !
I'm using the MFI mount from Adam !
The QD mount for the Suppressor is YHMs quick detach mount .
The mount Threads to the 15-1 HK threads , then literally takes the can a turn & a half or so to mount to the QD
I'll get pics up later this evening !

Cell phone pics of YHM QD mount .
& I just counted , it takes 3.5 turns to have the can on the mount , give or take a click or two .

I'LL get back with on this one !
I know with wolf ammo the trigger pack would get very dirty......
Will test the PMC this weekend see if I can get a malfunction.
I venture to guess ill quit shootin due to the how hot the can will be after 250 rounds or so before the gun malfunctions .
