Excellent! Now we are talking! Innovation and meeting US market needs un/less constrained by laws in Germany and importation restrictions into the US is exactly what many of us have wanted to hear. Things were getting dull; not anymore. Thank you!

I want to be happy and excited here (I truly do), but the wording specifically calls out new products being designed and manufactured in the US. Meaning all the German military stuff everyone actually wants probably isn't going to be in the picture. When they say "tailored specifically to the American market", I'm thinking we're going to see carbines/rifles which take inspiration from some of those iconic German models, but with an "Americanized" design (skinny MLOK handguards, AR-like ergos, AR furniture compatibility, etc.). I really hope I'm very wrong on that, but unfortunately that's the trend we're seeing with other manufacturers like IWI (Gen 2 Galil ACE, Carmel, etc.).

I also hope this isn't signaling their intent to slowly ween us off of German imported models altogether. Manufacturers everywhere are looking to cut costs wherever they can, and not even HK is immune from that unfortunately. It's already something that's happening with Beretta.

Well, since no one has mentioned it yet, I'm pretty sure the MR556A5 and MR762A4s are on the horizon. Earlier this year, my inside sources told me that they were slated for late this year; not sure if thats announcement or release, but I'm sure they are part of these new offerings

Photo of our text convo about it - this was specifically about the 762s
