Greetings All,

I was cleaning my P30L when this piece on the hammer fell off. It looks like it was attached to the hammer.

Here is another view. It is made of rubber. I have about 2 thousand rounds through this pistol.

What do you think? Does this need to be reattached? Thank you for your thoughts.

Well , it should be on there more so for where your thumb sits than functionality of the hammer. If it's a new gun , or hell even if it isn't , i'd call HKCS in Columbus, Ga and see what they say .

Take some super glue, and glue it back on.

You guys must be new. MIM never breaks, better than forged , some say. Must be bad ammo, prolly wwb.

If that hammer is like mine, that is not an MIM piece that fell off. That is a plastic/rubber/something-or-other piece. I'd glue it back on with super glue gel.

It is the rubber piece. Those rarely fall off, but gluing it back on should be a simple step.
