I think that pouch is for the laser/light.And yes it is missing the double mag pouch and a small square pouch that is big enough to hold a twenty round box of home defense ammo (not really sure what it was intended for).
Ah, the UTL. ThanksYep the pouch was for the UTL.
+1 on this.I still think the HK soft case is overpriced, especially when you have to buy it separately. I would go with the Blackhawk SOCOM pistol case, which is the exact same case as the HK, minus the red logo and $100+. And it has all the pouches.

The only differences that I know of are: the HK logo on the outside and on the inside tag, the pouches are adjustable on the Blackhawk, non-adjustable on Eagle Industries one, and the inside HK tag says Made by Eagle Industries as opposed to Blackhawk. Not sure about the para cord, but I'll check when I get home today. They are made of the same material and, from some of the posts I read, by the same company.+1 on this.
When sitting on the shelf they are almost indistinguishable from HK/eagle. The only difference I can see is the part that you actually grab the zippers by. HK is metal, and Blackhawk is para cord.
Oh, and the HK emblem on the inside.
+1 if you want to keep everything authentic. That's why so many people are willing to spend big bucks for these cases and hence the market, and the mark-up, for them. Those less-expensive, Non-Eagle Industries, imitation cases are fine functionally. But if someone were trying to complete their factory-correct, authentic HK package, they would want the real HK case. For example I have known of guys who got a USP Tactical 45 with the wrong sights on it and no case. They searched hi and lo for all the pieces to make their package complete with all the original HK parts, including the real Eagle Industries HK case.
Thanks TC, but I was referring to the straps on those pouches (suppressor and mag carriers), not the pouches themselves. My Eagle case looks just like the one below, and all the pouches are adjustable.
Sorry, disregard. Thanks TC, but I was referring to the straps on those pouches (suppressor and mag carriers), not the pouches themselves.
The Blackhawk seems to be a clone of earlier SOCOM case ... the clear pouch where manual goes in is too small for recent manual booklets. They are made of the same material and, from some of the posts I read, by the same company.
