Thanks!
The slide is NP3, and as GPD45 said... picked mine up for $599.It's a PSP (heel release) with a re-finished (nickel?) slide?
Alot of time researching the wrong information. Some trade-in M8's have markings ground off, but not most or even many P7's.The owner said 'Nobody refinished the slide, it is how it came, the ones with the silver slide/frame were done by CDNN or hard chromed by the owner, and those are also labeled PSP which are police trade ins, mine is an actual P7, not PSP, MINE STILL HAS GERMAN POLICE MARKS, 99.97% of the p7 here have the police marks ground off and are re finished, its part of what makes mine so rare. If you research it you will see I'm right, I spent alot of time researching this.'
I thought the P7 that's marked PSP were more valuable/collectible. I tried to do some research, but nothing is standing out that it's worth more than say $6-700. I thought I'd post it up on here as somebody might be able to tell me something I'm missing!
My bad. Yes, I meant P7 PSP - sometimes referred to as P7. Some call them PSP's to create understanding that they are not P7M8's.The owner said 'Nobody refinished the slide, it is how it came, the ones with the silver slide/frame were done by CDNN or hard chromed by the owner, and those are also labeled PSP which are police trade ins, mine is an actual P7, not PSP, MINE STILL HAS GERMAN POLICE MARKS, 99.97% of the p7 here have the police marks ground off and are re finished, its part of what makes mine so rare. You just have to keep looking for a good deal. It does seem like the police trade in guns are drying up. I paid $499 for one of mine and two weeks ago I bought a new or very, very close to new P7 M8 ( complete with everything) for $749! (it did not leave my hands after I saw it until the paper work was done)All you guys getting them for like $600-$700? Where? I really, really want a P7 but I don't want to pay a fortune for one as it'll be a shooter that goes in my range bag. I'm not going to admire it from under a glass case and would rather not pay safe queen prices. Then, too, I'd rather it not be beat to hell and back, either i.e. grade B or higher.
now that's a steal!! the gun in the OP is a rip off...I bought a new or very, very close to new P7 M8 ( complete with everything) for $749!
Not looking to sell any as the deals are getting harder to find. I was not looking for another M8 but at that price I thought I would make some money on it. When I got home I decided I will keep it.Would you sell me one of yours? I'm serious.
I picked up my grade b P7 from Top Gun Supply I think 2 years ago for $499. I did recently get it NP3'd and it costs a mint. My guess is that the seller is just trying to get his money back. The thing is, refinishing your weapon is sorta like customizing your car, you blow through cash to get it just the way YOU want it...all the while knowing that you will likely never make your money back if you sell it later. Diplomatically, I think the seller needed to do more research. The owner said 'Nobody refinished the slide, it is how it came, the ones with the silver slide/frame were done by CDNN or hard chromed by the owner, and those are also labeled PSP which are police trade ins, mine is an actual P7, not PSP, MINE STILL HAS GERMAN POLICE MARKS, 99.97% of the p7 here have the police marks ground off and are re finished, its part of what makes mine so rare.
