Being the holidays you have friends over. One friend wanted to see a couple of my rifles. He was looking at my JLD PTr.The bipod was off at the time and he said that he wanted to put it on.I told him start at one end and match the lugs to the groove and it slides right on.Well he put it on backwards and now Im having trouble getting it off.I tried sliding in reverse order that he put it on but it wont come off.Any suggestions.

Too funny, I was just sitting here with my PTR-91 with the bipod on it. I think you need to press hard on the "keeper" on the bottom forearm, I bet it's bound up on the ridge that retains the bipod in the groove. Does that make sense? I slid mine on backwards, but keep the keeper pressed the whole time and it went right on and slid right back off. I bet yours is in a bind. AKATTACK

Edited to add: You are referring to the original HK style bipod, right?
