Put at least 500 rounds down the pipe until you start considering tweaks. Really.

I'd also recommend shooting 500-1000 rounds with your new P30, before you start modifying anything. Good idea would be to invest in a couple of snap caps (if you don't have those already) and really master that DA trigger with ample dry firing and shooting your pistol mostly in the DA mode during range sessions.

Ammo, spare mags and a quality holster. Run the gun or even better take it through a class before you worry about "mods". As for lasers I would work on getting solid shooting fundamentals first. IMO visible lasers serve a very small niche purpose. In almost every class I've ever taken where someone had a visible laser it caused more issues than it solved.

We currently shoot at least 200 rounds a week usually 9mm. I shot close to 100 this am through the P30. I do think I have found my unicorn. Yep a good holster is first on the list. No one carries LH holsters around here. And even though our local range has a lot they have little to none for HKs. ( recommendations welcome). I usually shoot with dot sights since my eyes are getting a little old. But this gun already has a good night iron site on it ( was a used gun) so I will just work with it for a while. The DA takes some getting use to but Nothing I cant master with time.

I love my P30SKS too (also have a P30S). I have the V3 variant which is probably what you have.

I'm an ambi shooter and have a few kydex holsters for LH that I use (P30, VP9, Glock 19) for IWB and OWB but kydex for IWB isn't comfortable to me and use some hybrid ones from DeSantis holsters which are more generic and work for my P30, VP9 and G19 and are IWB comfortable that I've never had issues with.

There's so many options out there you'll have to figure out what works best for you and determine what holsters would work best.
I use my P30s as a 1911 (I came from a 1911) so cocked & locked as it is said, so I'm in Single Action mode from the first shot. But everyone is different.

Yes snap caps are a good workout. I also have a laser lyte system that makes it fun to practice inside
